Three members of the 2007 Tritons Baseball Club have been recognized by the PBL for their outstanding seasons. OF, Chad Stang finshed his high school career in dramatic fashion as the top hitter and top offensive player in the league with a .418 BA with 12 stolen bases. In addition, the club finished with the best team batting average (.275) in the league.

Preston Carlile also was selected as a co-recipient of the rookie of the year award. Preston led the league in home runs. This marks the second year in a row this award has gone to a Triton. Last Year RHP Mitch Hodge was selected. Mitch has gone on to play professionally for the Kansas City Royals having been selected in the 3rd round at this past summers’ MLB Free Agent Draft.
Inf, Andrew Reyes was recognized for the most sacrifices this year with 7.
In other news, Catcher/Inf Antonio Paoloini was selected by Team BC Head Coach Cav Whitely with the Team BC Athlete Leadership Award. "Determined by the coaching staff is goes to a member of Team BC who demonstrated leadership skills both on and off the field of competition".
Paolini along with OF/LHP, Nick Senior and Preston Carlile were members of Team BC competing at the Canada Summer games this past August in Edmonton. Team BC won silver at the event.
