TWO TRITON ROOKIES SELECTED TO NATIONAL 16U ID CAMP
On the heels of the National Jr. Club selecting RHP Mitch Hodge to their Spring tarining roster this past week, the White Rock Tritons recieved additional good news two rookies from their line-up have been selected attend to Baseball Canada’s 16U ID Camp.
Antonio Paolini, Catcher and Of/LHP, Nick Senior of the White Rock Tritons have received invites to Baseball Canada’s National 16U ID Camp sponsored by Mizuno.Both Senior and Paolini are products of the Triton’s Jr. Program now first year players for the Tritons’ PBL club.
The Baseball Canada program helps to identify the top 16 year old talent in the country in preparation for the 2008 National Jr. Team. Scheduled to start in Toronto later this month, the camp will bring together the top players from across the country, 8 other players from the PBL and JPBL were chosen to represent BC in this national camp.
Coaches Andy Rempel from Abbotsford and Jordan Wilson from North Jr. Twins were selected as guest coaches to assist at the camp along with members from the Blue Jays coaching staff
The White Rock Tritons Baseball Club wishes to congratulate all those from BC who will represent the best HS baseball league in the counrty and would especially like acknowledge both Tritons players for their outstanding efforts over the past year, they are very well deserving of this award and recognition.
